IEEE International Conference on Shape Modeling and Applications (SMI)
GENERAL INFORMATION
SMI (Shape Modeling International) is an annual conference.
SMI'09 will be held in Beijing, China, hosted by Tsinghua University, on June 26-28, 2009.
SMI'09 provides an international forum for presenting new trends and results in
theory, techniques, and applications of shape modeling, simulating, and analysis.
The audience of SMI'09 includes researchers, developers, students, and practitioners across a wide range of fields.
The proceedings of SMI'09 will contain two parts.
One (no longer than 12 pages per paper) will be published as a special issue of
"Computers and Graphics"
Journal (Elsevier),
and the other one (no longer than 8 pages per paper)
will be published by IEEE and enter the database of IEEE.
All the papers will be reviewed in two cycles, i.e., review and rebuttal cycles,
with the Elsevier paper submission and review system.
The videos of SMI 2009 are available now at the China Science-Meeting Online.
The special issue of Computers & Graphics is available online at science direct.
