Kanle Shi(施侃乐)

He got his PhD degree on Computer Graphics and Computer-Aided Design, from the School of Software, Tsinghua University, Beijing, and also from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, Beijing. Previously, he worked as a research assistant in INRIA, France.

His research interest covers computer graphics, computer-aided design, compiler, virtual machine, database and web techniques. He is versed in C/C++, C#, ASP.Net, HTML, JavaScript, Ruby, Visual Basic 6/7 and other programming languages; and he is also experienced in web design and digital art-design. He initialized or has been in charge of many successful projects, e.g., Kaleidia. He has participated in the starting of the company Mojiti, which is afterward known as Hulu. After Mojiti’s success, he returned to Tsinghua University for his Ph. D. and got both the top-grade honor of technical innovation (Star of Innovation) and the the top-grade honor of comprehensive abilities (Tsinghua Grand-Prize Scholarship).
